The preferred and most efficient method for
submitting applications is electronically.
However, we realize that paper applications are sometimes necessary when dealing with time constraints. Please review your paper applications closely and watch for the top 3 mistakes!
How to submit your application securely:
Upload to Agent Portal Most preferred option.
Watch your app in real time.
The application will pend at the carrier due to an address, MBI # or agent writing number if it isn’t legible and we cannot type on the application, even an AWN.
2. KNOW THE FORMULARY FOR THE MBI #
Know the formulary for the MBI # and write down the MBI # - do not use the HICN # as it is no longer acceptable. The application will pend at the carrier until the client responds to a phone call or letter and can be denied if the client does not respond.
3. UNANSWERED QUESTIONS & MISSING FORMS
Questions that are not answered or forms that are missing will cause an application to pend at the carrier (Chronic Forms or POA Paperwork).
